Today’s the last day to enrol in The Ministry of Fun DJ School’s January 2023 Teen Beginner DJ Program before I close the doors and help my students’ prepare for the Summer School program (commencing 2nd January 2023)

I created this beginner DJ program to cultivate more confidence, self expression, creativity, self motivation, connection, community, and freedom. There’s no doubt that music and the learning of music is of huge benefit to young people (let’s face it - we all need music in our lives!) but DJING is the instrument of choice for young people.

As a parent of a tween and a teen I understand how crazy our world is at the moment and how that may affect our youth. Forming bonds and connections through music is important more than ever, and DJing is the perfect instrument to channel that.

Teens are so intuitive to music, it's like an immediate reaction for them, whether they are thinking of a happy moment or even a sad one...it evokes an immediate emotion inside them.

And that’s why DJing is such a great alternative to playing a more traditional musical instrument, because they get that instant gratification. Just by teaching them how to press play you can see in their faces how much they love DJing, they get so excited, which will not only light their face up, but will light yours as a parent.

There really is nothing as universal as MUSIC and to be able to play it not only for themselves but for their family & friends…It will totally light your kid up!

I truly believe that through DJing, your teen will be able to not only connect with themselves but also strengthen connections with their family and friends, with a new found confidence and self belief in themselves.

Witnessing your child nail their first mix is not only a memory they will never forget, but one YOU will never forget too.
